Candidates must hold Virginia State Paramedic Certification (or National Registry), current BLS, ACLS, and PALS; HS diploma required; ability to lift 35 lbs, work evenings, nights, and weekends.

This role requires critical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to respond quickly in emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School / GED required.
• Virginia State Paramedic Certification and/or National Registry required.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• AHA ACLS required at hire.
• AHA PALS required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under supervision from Nurse Manager, Patient Care Manager, Charge Nurse or Team Leader.
• Performs monitored tasks and vital signs as acuity dictates.
• Performs venipuncture, starts IVs and collects specimens with proper labeling.
