Job summary

CSL is seeking a healthcare professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures and to provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff. You will interview donors, review medical histories, and determine ongoing suitability for donation while referencing reactive test results.

Coordinate with the Center Medical Director, follow SOPs, and escalate critical situations to appropriate physicians or services as needed.

Qualifications

• Interviews donors and reviews medical history to determine plasma donation suitability.
• Provides limited emergency medical care to donors and staff per licensure.
• Notifies and counsels donors regarding reactive test results and follow‑up options.
• Escalates critical medical situations to Center Physician or local medical services.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Administer medications or treatments in accordance with licensure.
• Respond to medically related questions with Center Medical Director.
• Review test results and determine continued donor suitability.
• Refer donors to community facilities for follow‑up and counseling.
• Provide routine care following SOPs; escalate when required.
