Novant Health is seeking a Paramedic to join our hospital-based team in North Carolina. You will provide acute patient care alongside RNs and physicians, performing triage, rapid assessments, and continuous monitoring in high-stakes situations.

The role emphasizes compassionate, evidence-driven practice and collaboration with the care team to promote optimal health outcomes for patients and their families.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Prefer at least one year experience with a paid EMS provider at the Paramedic level.
• NC Paramedic certification or eligible for reciprocity; BCLS, ACLS, PALS required; ITLS or PHTLS within 90 days.

Mansioni

• Triage and Intake: receive ambulance and walk-in patients, collect initial vitals and medical history, assist nurses with rapid assessment.
• Trauma and Critical Care Response: respond to high-acuity events such as trauma alerts, code blues, code fasts, and STEMI activations.
• Ongoing Monitoring: continuously monitor critically ill or injured patients while awaiting beds, tests, or transfer.

Formazione

High School Diploma or GED
