Job summary

Astera Health is seeking a full-time Paramedic in Wadena, MN. The role entails 12-hour shifts (day, night, weekends, and holidays) with a 0.9 FTE schedule. You will perform on-scene and transport care, manage medications under physician orders, and maintain rigorous documentation and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Completed EMT-Paramedic program and active Minnesota and National EMT-Paramedic licensure.
• Active Minnesota Driver’s License and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/CALS/NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care at the scene and during transport to hospital.
• Responds to incident scenes, assesses, and initiates emergency care per protocols.
• Performs ET intubation and administers meds per standing orders.
• Documents run reports accurately and timely.
• Maintains safety, equipment, and drives with care; may support SWAT training.
