Qualifications

• Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field (cert preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Westlaw/LexisNexis and document management systems.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, processes, and documentation requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and court personnel.
• Ability to review and organize detailed documents with accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical conduct.

Responsabilités

• Conduct legal research from statutes, case law, and regulations.
• Draft contracts, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs; prepare filings for court.
• Organize and maintain case files, manage deadlines, ensure documentation is accurate.
• Communicate with clients for information, updates, and routine questions.
• Assist attorneys in court prep, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
• Perform administrative duties: scheduling, calendars, correspondence.
• Handle additional tasks to support the legal team’s efficient operation.
