Description This is seeking a highly organized paralegal to support attorneys with legal research, document drafting, regulatory submissions, and discovery. The role focuses on state and federal forums and requires meticulous attention to detail.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years paralegal experience; or six years without a degree. Proficiency with Westlaw/LexisNexis, PACER, MS Office, and related tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Nevada and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure knowledge and research.
• Experience with regulatory filings and legal documents.
• Detail oriented, able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assists attorney in research, tracking and preparation of legal documents.
• Prepares regulatory filings for submission to PUCN and FERC.
• Identifies relevant judicial decisions, statutes, and legal articles.
• Drafts pleadings, regulatory documents, data requests, and testimony.
• Organizes files, maintains schedules, and coordinates subpoenas.
• Provides training and backup support for secretarial staff.
