We are looking for a detail-oriented, mission-driven Paralegal to support our legal and compliance activities. The Paralegal will assist with contract review, data protection documentation, record-keeping, and support the onboarding of local and international partners. What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; paralegal certification preferred.

2+ years of experience in a paralegal, legal assistant, or compliance role, preferably in a nonprofit, government, or grant-funded organization.

Fluency in Ukrainian and Professional level of English.

Familiarity with U.S. nonprofit law, contracts, and data protection standards.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic document management tools.

What You’ll Do:

Assist in the drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, grant agreements, and NDAs.

Support compliance with data protection and privacy requirements (Ukraine, U.S. laws).

Maintain and manage digital filing systems for legal and donor documentation.

Coordinate with internal program teams and external partners to gather and review documentation.

Conduct legal research and summarize findings related to nonprofit operations, employment, or international compliance.

Track contract deadlines, renewals, and reporting obligations.

Prepare templates for consent forms, waivers, and basic legal correspondence.

Support the Legal and Finance teams in audit preparation and reporting.

Would be a plus:

Experience with international grantmaking or cross-border compliance.

Knowledge of Ukrainian legal context

Prior experience supporting donor-funded projects (e.g., USAID, IREX, Tetra Tech, etc.)
