We’re a solo business law firm based in Long Island, NY, serving small businesses and nonprofits across New York. We’re looking for a part-time contract attorney (1099) to support ongoing legal work, primarily in:

• Entity formation and governance (LLCs, nonprofits)
• Contract drafting and review
• Nonprofit compliance and internal policies
• Legal research and internal strategy memos

You’ll work directly with the managing attorney and help build a lean, responsive, and client-focused practice.

This is a long-term, remote, flexible position—ideal for someone who wants consistent part-time work without the hours or politics of firm life. No direct client communication is expected unless authorized. Opportunity to become a full-time position in the future.

Details:

• 1099 contractor
• Pay: $85–$125/hour depending on experience
• Invoiced and paid monthly
• Remote, flexible hours (roughly 5–10/week, with a possibility to increase over time)
