Job description

LHH is seeking a Paralegal Manager for a valued law firm client to lead the corporate and transactional paralegal team, shaping a collaborative and high‑performing department while strengthening compliance and overall operational efficiency. Please send your resume today for consideration.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of corporate/transactional paralegal functions, including legal research, document drafting, and case management.
  • Experience in mid‑ to large‑sized law firms strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, sound decision‑making, and comfort working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adaptable, strategic, and resourceful problem‑solver.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, DocuSign; experience with document management systems.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee all paralegal workflow across corporate and transactional matters, ensuring clear communication between attorneys and paralegals, an understanding of client requirements, organized matter files, balanced workload distribution, and timely completion of tasks.
  • Prepare and review corporate and transactional documents, including investor subscription agreements and investor communications. Support private investment fund closings and transfer processes from inception through completion, and manage preparation and distribution of closing sets for attorneys, clients, and investors.
  • Manage the formation of corporations, LLCs, and limited partnerships by drafting formation documents, obtaining EINs, coordinating annual filings, and handling foreign qualifications. Oversee preparation and submission of regulatory filings such as Form ADV, Form D, and Blue Sky filings.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of paralegals while developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures to enhance workflow efficiency, consistency, and quality.
  • Monitor performance of paralegals through feedback and evaluations, and provide development opportunities, continuing education, and skills training to keep the team current with legal and industry updates.

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $115K and $130K.
