Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned legal support professional to assist the Legal Department with litigation management, regulatory compliance, and contract administration. You will coordinate with internal teams and outside counsel to move matters forward and meet deadlines.

This role covers property-related matters, licensing compliance, entity maintenance, and employment disputes, plus support for the bankruptcy platform and pre-litigation activities.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree
• Paralegal Certification required
• 3-7 years’ experience working in law environment and/or property management
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with a working knowledge of common legal, HR and business concepts
• High-quality verbal and written communication skills to liaise with management, vendors, residents, legal counsel, administrative agencies, and other employees and team members
• Ability to self-manage in a fast-paced environment within time and resource constraints
• Proven problem solving, conceptual thinking and analytical abilities
• Exceptional project management skills to effectively manage multiple priorities
• Satisfactory background and drug screen as a condition of employment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal support to the Legal Department.
• Assist with litigation management, legal operations, and contract administration.
• Support regulatory compliance, licensing, and entity maintenance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and outside counsel.
• Monitor deadlines and support efficient operation of the legal function.
• Provide real-time dispute resolution support for resident complaints.
• Support bankruptcy platform and calendar of Motion for Relief hearings.
• Coordinate with market teams on code enforcement and lien reduction.
• Assist with pre-suit mediations and litigation involving HOA.
• Support in-house attorneys with commercial litigation, employment disputes, regulatory matters, subpoenas, claims, mediations, and pre-litigation disputes.
• Support pre-litigation and litigation workflows, including document collection, review coordination, and production tracking
