Job summary

SR Staffing is assisting a well-established law firm in recruiting an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling sophisticated commercial and business litigation matters. You will manage complex civil litigation from inception through trial, coordinating pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation while ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm, strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm.
• Experience supporting attorneys in commercial, business, contract, shareholder, real estate and other complex civil matters.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures, discovery practices, and workflows.
• Experience with electronic court filings and litigation support technology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
• Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all phases of commercial litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Draft, review, organize, and file legal documents in state and federal courts.
• Manage case files, litigation databases, and document management systems.
• Oversee discovery processes, including document collection, review, production, and tracking.
• Coordinate litigation calendars, court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trial schedules.
• Prepare deposition summaries, chronologies, witness files, exhibit lists, and trial notebooks.
• Assist with e-discovery projects and large-volume document productions.
• Coordinate with clients, experts, court personnel, opposing counsel, and third-party vendors.
• Provide trial support, including courtroom logistics, exhibit management, and attorney preparation.
• Ensure compliance with court rules, filing procedures, and litigation deadlines.

• Commercial disputes, breach of contract matters, business torts, partnership/shareholder disputes, construction litigation, or real estate litigation.
