Job summary

Hall & Evans, LLC is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Missoula, Montana team. The role supports existing client files, helps establish a local presence, and serves as the main contact for the corporate office.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home after training. A strong background in civil litigation and excellent organizational and writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil litigation, defense firm preferred.
• Montana civil litigation experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain, review and analyze medical, financial, tax and employment records.
• Prepare medical record summaries.
• Draft pleadings, discovery and routine correspondence.
• Experience billing time.
• Strong writing and research skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Anticipate attorney needs and solve problems.
• Work independently or with a team.
• Build cooperative relationships across diverse people.
• Maintain tact, discretion and sound judgment.
• Strong organizational skills; manage high-volume workload.
• Professional and personable presentation.
• Flexible to work overtime as needed.
• At least an ABA Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.

• Montana civil litigation experience, preferred;

• Prepare medical record summaries;
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence;
• Experience billing time;
• Well-developed writing and research skills;
• Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook;
• Ability to stay focused on numerous details while maintaining a high level of accuracy;
• Anticipating attorney’s needs, identifying problems, and finding solutions;
• Ability to work with limited supervision, independently or with a team;
• Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with a wide variety of people;
• Ability to exercise a high degree of tact, discretion, and sound judgment;
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a high-volume workload to meet time-critical deadlines;
