Job summary

CACI International Inc. is hiring a Paralegal to support the DOJ's Radiation Exposure Compensation Program (RECA). You will handle administrative law tasks in the RECA Call Center, answer applicant questions on the 1-800 line, and interpret RECA regulations.

You'll work with the DOJ legal team and gain experience in eDiscovery, with tuition reimbursement for Relativity certifications and related Paralegal credentials. A strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate, JD, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, with ≥1 year of study.
• One year of legal training or legal experience or ≥2 years of college can substitute for the paralegal certificate.
• At least one year of litigation paralegal experience or related project experience is required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; proficient with word processing, databases, spreadsheets, imaging, and hardware.
• Familiarity with ESI tools and basic legal research tools (LEXIS/Westlaw) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Compile, prepare, and summarize materials for attorneys.
• Maintain case files and organize documents.
• Perform simple legal and factual research.
• Index, track, and control case materials including claimant files.
• Review documents for legal sufficiency per guidelines.
