Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join a fast-paced legal team. You will provide professional, accurate, timely paralegal support reporting to the OGC and assist with various tasks in litigation, discovery, and document management.

The role requires strong legal research abilities, familiarity with eDiscovery platforms, and excellent written and oral communication skills to support attorneys and clients throughout case management.

Qualifications

• Requires paralegal certificate, or JD, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least one year.
• At least two years of litigation paralegal experience is required; trial experience is very helpful.
• At least one year of experience in automated litigation support and knowledge of federal/state courts.
• Excellent written and oral communication and familiarity with legal research tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, accurate, timely paralegal support to the legal team.
• Assist with drafting legal documents, memoranda, and discovery materials.
• Perform legal research, review case materials, and summarize transcripts.
• Maintain case management records, privilege logs, and discovery documentation.
• Collaborate with attorneys to support litigation tasks and production timelines.
