Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for working directly with internal stakeholders on drafting, negotiation, assessment, and total lifecycle management of the contract management at HBFF. The Paralegal/Contract Specialist shall also be responsible for the administration of the contract management system. The Paralegal/Contract Specialist must possess strong communication and collaboration skills and have the ability to effectively manage a demanding workload in the execution of multiple concurrent projects across geographic and organizational boundaries.

  • Draft, evaluate, and negotiate written contracts of all types, including (in coordination with licensed attorneys representing Hazelden Betty Ford)
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of the contractual obligations of the organization, from initiation through execution, amendment, renewal, and termination/expiration, including tracking key milestones, deadlines, and obligations.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of contract management processes, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Serve as the point of contract and liaison for all stakeholders on contractual matters and provide contract-related guidance to all stakeholders


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, paralegal certificate, or equivalent (5+ years) relevant work experience
  • 3+ legal contract experience including drafting, reviewing, and amending contracts/agreements
  • Experience in contract management and administration throughout the contract lifecycle process
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Customer services skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous, and accurate information on the telephone or using email and other written correspondences
  • Communication skills sufficient to write and edit reports, letters, and other documents using correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and sentence structure
  • Proficient in contract or legal matter management tools, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management or process improvement experience

USD $82,239.00 - USD $119,838.00 /Yr.
