Job description

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for working directly with internal stakeholders on drafting, negotiation, assessment, and total lifecycle management of contracts at HBFF. The Paralegal/Contract Specialist will also administer the contract management system. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across different locations and organizational units.

  1. Draft, evaluate, and negotiate various types of contracts, in coordination with licensed attorneys representing Hazelden Betty Ford.
  2. Manage the entire lifecycle of organizational contracts, from initiation through execution, amendments, renewals, and terminations, including tracking milestones, deadlines, and obligations.
  3. Assist in developing and implementing contract management processes, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  4. Serve as the primary contact and liaison for contractual matters, providing guidance to stakeholders.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, paralegal certification, or equivalent experience (5+ years).
  • At least 3 years of legal contract experience, including drafting, reviewing, and amending contracts.
  • Experience managing contracts throughout their lifecycle.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Customer service skills for prompt and accurate communication via phone and email.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in contract management tools, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in project management or process improvement.

Salary Range

USD $82,239.00 - USD $119,838.00 per year.
