Job summary

OpenKrill is seeking a Paralegal / Project Manager to own cases from demand letter readiness through payout administration. You will connect Legal Strategy and Ops, review and QA legal materials, and shepherd packages through counsel review to ensure timely, clean handoffs.

The role requires a legal background (JD, paralegal cert, or equivalent), familiarity with US law, and 5+ years in related PM or paralegal roles. Proficiency with AI tools and modern platforms is expected.

Qualifications

• Legal background required with paralegal certification, JD, law school coursework, or equivalent litigation experience.
• Familiar with US law and experience at a US-based law firm preferred.
• 5+ years in PM, operations, or paralegal/case management in complex litigation or mass arbitration is a strong plus.
• Proficient with AI tools and modern tooling; experience using Claude/LLMs, Notion, Linear, Airtable.

Responsibilities

• Review and QA legal materials before they reach outside counsel.
• Drive demand letter/package planning and sequencing; confirm scope, claimant counts and target send dates.
• Maintain Case Updates and Ledger documents for every initiated case and track post-initiation lifecycle.
