Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced litigation support professional to assist with document preparation, case management, and trial readiness. You will coordinate with attorneys to advance cases, manage electronic files, and compile medical chronologies for complex matters.

The role requires 4+ years in litigation defense, strong attention to detail, and the ability to travel nationwide as needed. Familiarity with client billing guidelines is essential and you will contribute to high-quality work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, Paralegal Certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of litigation defense experience required.
• Experience with document review, trial prep and discovery support.
• Familiarity with client billing guidelines and accurate billing entries.

Job description

• Prepare, edit and proofread correspondence, agreements and pleadings
• Work with attorneys to keep litigation advancing in each case
• Regularly update team members on case status and alert attorneys to important client and case needs
• Assist attorneys with discovery requests, depositions and subpoenas
• Assist with document review and analysis through various platforms
• Manage electronic case files in iManage
• Prepare for trial by compiling trial materials, coordinating witnesses, preparing and issuing trial subpoenas, preparing and managing exhibits, and attending trial
• Gather and analyze complex medical records to prepare medical chronologies
