Job description
Draft and revise legal documents, including discovery requests/responses, pleadings, briefs, and various motions.
Maintain open lines of communication with attorneys; independently manage follow-ups and identify when to elevate matters.
Manage large volumes of documents—organizing, labeling, scanning, producing, and Bates‑stamping—using eDiscovery and indexing tools.
Support deposition and trial preparation by coordinating exhibits, compiling witness and expert lists, and assembling binders and related materials.
Manage court‑related deadlines and scheduling using rules‑based calendaring software.
Provide litigation support across various jurisdictions, including state, federal, appellate courts, and arbitration settings.
Communicate daily with attorneys regarding task status and deadlines.
Preferred Skills & Tools
Skilled with Adobe Acrobat (Bates numbering, redaction, PDF organization).
Familiarity with document sharing platforms (e.g., Dropbox, ShareFile).
Experience with eDiscovery platforms like Logikcull or Relativity.
Solid calendaring knowledge, including rule‑based deadlines for state and federal matters.
Research skills using Westlaw or equivalent platforms.
Comfortable using Excel and Microsoft Teams.
Previous experience with electronic filing in both state and federal courts.
Cite checking and Bluebook proficiency is a plus.
