Job summary

Maune Raichle Hartley French & Mudd, LLC seeks a litigation paralegal in Tampa to support attorneys and teams by managing client meetings, drafting pleadings and court documents, and coordinating discovery and depositions in preparation for trials.

This on-site position requires energetic, detail-oriented individuals who can work independently and as part of a team, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation from onset through trial.
• Draft pleadings, correspondence, authorizations, interrogatories, transmittal letters, and other legal documents.
• File summonses and complaints, and coordinate service with vendors.
• Prepare discovery requests and responses.
• Coordinate and schedule depositions.
• Track and monitor client files, calendars, and provide status updates.
• Perform extensive internal and online legal research.
• Assist with trial preparation, including trial binders and exhibits, coordinating with experts and court staff.
• Work in a high-volume environment with time- and content-sensitive deadlines.
• Develop strong working relationships with litigation attorneys, investigators, paralegals, and legal assistants.

What we’re looking for: Our Tampa, Florida office is seeking to hire a litigation paralegal to support attorneys and their teams by performing client meetings, legal drafting, and other relevant legal activities in preparation for trials. We are looking for energetic, driven, detail-oriented people for this on‑site position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation from onset through trial;
• Draft pleadings, correspondence, authorizations, interrogatories, transmittal letters, and other legal documents;
• File summonses and complaints, and work with vendors to effectuate service;

• Coordinate and schedule depositions;

• Assist with trial preparation, including trial binders, exhibits, coordinate with experts, opposing counsel, and court staff.
• Ability to work in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment (time and content sensitive deadlines);
• Highly organized;
• Strong computer and procedural skills;
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Detail oriented with the ability to analyze and problem solve;
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team to establish and foster working relationships with litigation attorneys, investigators, paralegals, and legal assistants.
