Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume residential real estate closings from contract to post-closing
• Draft and prepare closing documents, deeds, settlement statements, and correspondence
• Coordinate with lenders, realtors, clients, and attorneys
• Conduct title searches and assist in clearing title issues
• Support attorneys with commercial real estate matters as needed
• Maintain transaction files, timelines, and closing schedules
• Assist with real estate-related disputes, landlord-tenant issues, and evictions

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of real estate paralegal or closing experience (residential required)
• Strong knowledge of Connecticut real estate transactions and closing procedures
