Job summary

Freeman, Mathis & Gary Law is seeking an experienced Paralegal for our Las Vegas office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in defense litigation and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include assisting attorneys with trial preparations, managing the discovery process, and maintaining accurate case files.

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass a background/drug screen.
• Familiarity with performing research tasks using web-based legal research services.
• Proficiency in an electronic file setting, comfortable with a paperless system.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with the preparation of a civil case for trial.
• Manage discovery process and conduct records management.
• Schedule depositions and other meetings with various stakeholders.
• Organize and maintain case files; coordinate with Legal Assistants and other staff.
