Job summary

Fortitude HR Solutions has been engaged to conduct a search for a Paralegal for a faith-based Law Firm in Lancaster County, PA. The Paralegal will collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to manage caseloads and meet client objectives.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree in Paralegal Studies (required) with a Bachelor’s degree preferred and have 3+ years of paralegal experience, plus understanding of estate administration and elder law.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field is required; Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of paralegal experience is required.
  • Understanding of estate administration, estate and tax planning, business planning, and/or elder law is required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and exceptional service.
  • Prepare, draft, and revise legal documents including briefs, wills, contracts, real estate closing statements, pleadings, appeals, and other legal documents.
  • Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provide written analysis to attorneys.
  • Assist with the administration of client estates and with real estate settlement transactions.

Our client, a faith-based Law Firm located in Lancaster County, PA, provides expert legal representation in estate planning, trusts, business law, real estate, etc. for both individuals and businesses. The Paralegal will be responsible for meeting and collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to effectively manage caseloads and meet client objectives. Additional responsibilities include:
