Qualifications

  • 6+ years of paralegal experience in estate planning, trusts & estates, probate, or elder law.
  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of estate planning documents and probate procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with legal case management software is a plus.

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc is seeking an experienced Paralegal for a local law firm to help support their team of four attorneys in a busy and collaborative estate planning and elder law practice. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has prior experience handling estate planning, trust administration, probate, and elder law matters.

Responsibilities

Prepare estate planning documents, including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, and related documents.

Assist attorneys with trust and estate administration matters from inception through completion.

Draft probate and Orphans' Court filings.

Prepare Medicaid and long-term care planning documentation.

Coordinate document execution, witness and notary appointments.

Communicate with clients, financial institutions, and courts regarding case status and required documentation.

Organize and maintain electronic and physical client files.

Track deadlines and manage attorney calendars for estate planning matters.

Provide administrative and legal support to four attorneys as needed.

Qualifications

6+ years of paralegal experience in estate planning, trusts & estates, probate, or elder law.

Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of estate planning documents and probate procedures.

Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with legal case management software is a plus.

Working Situation
