Position Overview

MCI is a leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company that specializes in delivering tailored solutions to meet our clients' needs. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to join our legal team. Responsibilities include managing case files, conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and ensuring efficient processing of filings and paperwork. The role requires proactive case management and a strong understanding of legal processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information from statutes, case law, articles, and regulations.
  • Draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs.
  • Organize and maintain case files, manage deadlines, and track legal proceedings.
  • Communicate with clients for information and updates.
  • Assist attorneys in court preparations, organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
  • Perform administrative duties like scheduling and managing correspondence.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support the legal team.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal research databases (Westlaw, LexisNexis).
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with organizational skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
Conditions of Employment
