Job summary

Gottlieb & Greenspan, a Bergen County boutique law firm, seeks a Paralegal to join a close-knit team of 5–6 professionals. This role offers comprehensive training in arbitration processes and exposure to large data volumes in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication. Preference for degrees in relevant fields and paralegal experience; salary ranges reflect the market in New Jersey.

As a Paralegal on our team, you’ll be part of a close-knit group of 5–6 paralegal professionals led by a Senior Paralegal. You’ll receive comprehensive training in all aspects of the arbitration process and play a key role in supporting our legal efforts to ensure fair reimbursement for healthcare providers. If you are someone with strong organizations skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with large volumes of data in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and filing arbitration documents
• Review and analyze medical billing records and reimbursement claims

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree with relevant experience in medical billing or coding
• 0-2 years of prior paralegal experience (training will be provided)
• Medical Billing Certification
• The ability to read and decipher medical EOBs
• Familiarity with CPT coding

Salary Range: $50,000-$65,000 / year, commensurate with experience
