Job summary

OnderLaw LLC in Clayton, MO is seeking a Paralegal to be the primary point of contact for new personal injury clients. You will perform welcome calls, review retainers and required documents to ensure accurate setup in SmartAdvocate and other firm platforms.

You will draft legal correspondence, including subpoenas, pleadings, and demands, and assist attorneys in trial preparation. Workers' compensation docket experience is preferred, alongside strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Personal Injury paralegal experience required.
• Worker’s compensation experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Familiarity with SmartAdvocate or similar case management systems preferred.

Job Description:The Paralegal will serve as the primary point of contact for all new clients, conducting welcome calls and reviewing retainers and required documentation to ensure accurate setup within the firm’s core platform, SmartAdvocate. This role includes communicating with clients to obtain necessary documents from third parties such as insurance carriers, police departments, and medical providers. The Paralegal will draft a variety of legal correspondence, including subpoenas, pleadings, and demands, and will assist attorneys in trial preparation. The Paralegal will also handle Attorney’s worker’s compensation docket so familiarity with worker’s compensation law is preferred.
