Job summary

Moorehead Legal LLC is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to support attorneys in all phases of PI cases, from intake through settlement.

You will draft, review, and file legal documents, coordinate with clients and medical providers, and organize case files with medical records and evidence. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or paralegal certificate; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years of paralegal experience in personal injury law.
  • Proficiency with Clio, ProLaw, MyCase and MS Office.
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in all phases of personal injury cases from intake to settlement.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as demands and distribution sheets.
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters.
  • Organize case files including medical records, bills and evidence.
  • Conduct research and summarize findings on liability, damages, and procedural requirements.
  • Monitor deadlines and court dates to ensure timelines compliance.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage case files, and ensure seamless coordination between clients, attorneys, and external partners. This role demands strong organizational skills, legal knowledge, and a proactive mindset to drive cases toward successful resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in all phases of personal injury cases, from intake through settlement.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents (demands, distribution sheets, etc.).
  • Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters.
  • Organize and maintain case files, including medical records, bills, and evidence.
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings on liability, damages, and procedural requirements.
  • Monitor deadlines, court dates, and compliance with litigation timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or paralegal certificate (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a paralegal in personal injury law.
  • Proficiency in legal software (Clio, ProLaw, MyCase) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of civil litigation procedures, medical terminology, and legal documentation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written/verbal communication and client interaction skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English).
  • Experience managing pre-litigation and litigation cases.
