Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking a dedicated paraeducator to support students under a licensed staff member. You will assist with curriculum work, reinforce learning skills, monitor student progress, and help with materials and classroom activities.

Responsibilities include one-on-one and small-group support, field trip assistance, and documentation of student achievement while maintaining confidentiality and a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have 48 hours of college credit, or ParaPro or WorkKeys passing scores.
• No experience required.
• Basic knowledge of typical office equipment such as phones, copiers, fax machines, email, etc.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate English skills and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing materials, administering tests, grading, and attendance.
• Assist students with classroom activities and deliver curriculum to individuals and small groups.
• Monitor students and reinforce appropriate behavior during activities.
• Perform basic clerical work: typing, filing, inventory, ordering supplies, data entry.
• Assist with field trips or fire drills and perform other related duties as assigned.
