Mount Vernon School District 320 LaVenture Middle School - Mount Vernon, Washington is seeking a Paraeducator for Special Programs to support high-need students under the direction of the classroom teacher and building principal. The role involves assisting with behavioral and social skills programs, preparing materials, and tracking student progress in intensive classroom settings.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree or higher, or two years of college, or Parapro assessment.
• Spanish bilingual/biliterate preferred; may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support the students’ educational needs in classroom and non-academic settings.
• Assist in implementing social skills and behavioral programs.
• Prepare materials and maintain records of student progress.
• Deliver lessons under supervision and demonstrate flexibility.
• Collaborate with students and professionals in general education settings.
