Job summary

Edmonds School District seeks a Paraeducator II to assist certificated staff in delivering instructional programs across specialized areas such as computer lab, DHH, and vocational education. You will adapt materials for students’ needs, monitor progress and behavior, and support teachers with clerical tasks.

The role is non-continuing for the 2026-2027 school year, with a schedule of 6.5 hours per day over an 181-day calendar.

Qualifications

• Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Hold an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university
• Have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher at an accredited college or university
• Completed an apprenticeship as a paraeducator, in a program registered with the Washington State Apprenticeship and Training Council
• Received a passing score on PESB approved assessments: ParaPathways / Pearson / Master Teacher Inc. Paraeducator Online Training Program
