• AA/AS degree or 72 credits, Paraeducator Program or equivalent exam.
• BA/BS or MA/MS degree.
• Target: able to use computer technology effectively.

Responsibilities

• Work individually and in small groups with students to foster independence in academics, social skills, communication, behavior, and routines.
• Collect and record data; prepare instructional materials; support instruction and assessment of students.
• Provide support for students in all school settings, including general and special education classrooms, gym, lunchroom, playground, and community.
• Assist with hygienic and personal needs, including medical protocols, feeding, bathroom assistance, lifting, and physical support when necessary.
