Job summary

Everett Public Schools seeks a Paraeducator for 1:1 Extended Resource Room and bus support in Special Education for the 2026-27 school year. The role supports students with mild to moderate needs under IEPs and collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities include implementing IEPs, managing academic and behavioral supports, and assisting with health and related plans. Training may be required, and bus-assistance may be involved.

Qualifications

• Support implementation of Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
• Address academic, behavior/social, and adaptive needs.
• Assist with Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
• Assist in health plan, toileting plan, and medical delegations per individualized plan.
• May require Right Response training; depending on program and student needs.
• May require riding the bus with a student.

The Extended Resource program is a service for students who have mild to moderate delays in general intellectual functioning, existing concurrently with deficits in adaptive behavior.
