Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-operated company supporting school-based work in the Sierra Vista area. We are hiring a Special Education Paraeducator for the 2026-2027 school year, full-time (35 hours/week) with W-2 employment, liability insurance, and benefits.

Minimum qualifications include an associate degree or 60 college credits, or a ParaPro credential, plus background check and drug screening. Experience in schools is preferred and licensure reimbursements are available.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 60 college credits, or ParaPro credential.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• 2 years post secondary and at least 60 completed credits is acceptable.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting students with special needs in the classroom.
• Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement individualized plans.
• Help manage classroom activities and provide supervision as needed.
