Job summary

Kronospan in Anniston, Alabama, is seeking a production operator to perform VITS paper packing, labeling, and product inspection. You will enter data into Kronospan's Operations System and move materials with a forklift as needed on the production line.

You will also assist maintenance staff during troubleshooting or preventive tasks to support uninterrupted manufacturing. Ability to read technical instructions, work with tools, and lift up to 50 lbs is essential.

Responsibilities

• Pack, inspect, and label products per work orders.

• Follow safety and quality procedures and participate in continuous production improvements.

Job description

Perform the VITS paper packing installation including: strapping, wrapping and labeling. The personnel are responsible to ensure all products are properly inspected, packaged and all the information has been entered in the Kronospan Operation System. Further duties may include operating a forklift to transport paper and materials between departments, plant areas or truck loading. The personnel are responsible to ensure all products are properly and safely managed and transported; assisting maintenance personnel, when requested, in the troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance of equipment in order to support continuous operations on the production line
