Job summary

Ecolab’s internship program offers exposure to leaders and challenging projects within the Paper & Pulp Engineering Technical Sales track. You will support Field Sales Representatives, blend engineering with consultative sales, and build long‑term customer relationships across a large client base while developing solutions and digital technologies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Industrial or related) graduating in December 2027 or Summer 2028.
• Position requires a valid US Driver’s License and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• 11‑week paid internship program starting June 1st.

Responsibilities

• Complete an independent project(s) under primary trainer’s direction to yield calculated ROI.
• Complete safety training & technical lessons for water treatment applications.
• Observe and participate in service to customers to ensure accurate chemical application and documentation.
• Visit multiple customer sites across the region (40‑60% of training in field) to learn best practices and applications.
• Build key relationships with departments and personnel critical to field success.
