Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Paper Machine Supervisor to lead 11–15 operators on a 12-hour rotating shift. You will drive production performance, ensure safety compliance, and mentor crews toward continuous improvement and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, incident investigations within 24 hours, and collaboration with mill management to meet KPI targets on safety, cost, and throughput. A Bachelor’s degree plus supervision experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree a plus or 5+ years of supervision in a manufacturing setting.
• Five to seven years of previous supervisory skills; manufacturing environment preferred.
• Continuous Improvement – Lean/Six Sigma knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, leverage, and guide the work of others; mobilize resources.
• Manage two or more direct reports and monitor operational results.
• Hire, train, and develop employees; conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping, and adherence to production standards.
• Lead problem solving and implement countermeasures with the team.
• Communicate with other departments to optimize mill production.
