Job summary

WestRock Company is seeking a dedicated maintenance professional to lead reliability and safety initiatives in the Paper Mill area. You will coordinate maintenance activities, support the Area Manager and Foreman, and drive improvements in safety, cost, quality, and equipment performance.

The role requires strong communication skills, knowledge of mill maintenance practices, and experience with EAM planning, outages, and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Good oral and written communications skills, highly skilled in group communication as well as one to one communication.
• Fundamental understanding of mill processes affecting Paper Mill operations; preferred 5-years of operational and/or maintenance experience; Engineering degree or equivalent operations experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance management principles including precision maintenance, Preventative maintenance, root cause failure analysis, shutdown and contingency planning, and computer-based maintenance work systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide the maintenance activities required for maintaining and ensuring reliability, at the lowest cost for the area of responsibility.
• Support Area Manager and Process Manager to schedule, coordinate, and execute maintenance activities to drive reliability.
• Drive improvements in safety, reliability, cost, quality, productivity, and employee engagement.
• Lead the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence by operating crews.
• Act as primary liaison for EAM processes and ensure maintenance planning and outages run on time.
