Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or three to five years related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and on the job experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance mechanics in area of responsibility.
• Ensure safety, training, and assignment of work for maintenance personnel.
• Monitor maintenance spending and use of parts and equipment.
• Enforce safety and environmental rules and procedures.
• Act as chief troubleshooter for area equipment.
• Attend daily planning with area maintenance team.
• Fill out daily time sheets for mechanics.
• Conduct safety audits of mechanics and work area.
