Job summary

Smurfit Westrock seeks a Paper Machine Operations Maintenance Coordinator for our Longview Mill. The role focuses on coordinating maintenance activities to enhance reliability, safety, and cost efficiency, while supporting the Area Manager and Process Manager in scheduling and executing all maintenance work.

You will lead EAM processes, manage planned work, and drive environmental and safety initiatives across the department. A strong maintenance background and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of operational and/or maintenance experience.
Engineering degree or equivalent operations experience.
Familiar with statistical process control.
Knowledge of maintenance management principles including preventive maintenance and shutdown planning.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to improve reliability and safety.
Support Area Manager to drive equipment reliability and cost efficiency.
Lead daily and weekly planning; manage outage coordination.
Ensure adherence to EAM processes and maintenance backlogs.
Promote a safe, environmentally compliant work environment.
