Job summary

Odessa College is seeking a Wrangler Pantry Worker to support Student Support Services by providing a friendly, encouraging presence in the campus pantry for students seeking assistance.

You will greet students, handle reception duties, assist pantry guests and donors, support social services and Perkins assistance, stock and rotate items, unload orders, maintain inventory, and keep the pantry clean and organized. A high school diploma and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Greet students and provide excellent customer service.
• Provide reception duties including greeting, intake and answering phones and other office tasks.
• Assist pantry guests and donors.
• Assist students seeking social services and/or Perkins assistance.
• Stocking and rotating food products and pantry items.
• Unload and store pantry orders.
• Keep staff informed of inventory.
• Setup info tables around campus and assist with resource fairs.
• Keep pantry sanitized and orderly.
• Other duties as assigned.
