• No prior kitchen experience required; training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and cooking of breakfast, lunch, daily specials, and grab-and-go items.
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and food presentation guidelines.
• Prepare ingredients including meats, vegetables, sides, and other menu components.
• Assist with food preparation for Wrangler Kitchen specials and campus events.
• Maintain clean and organized food preparation and cooking areas.
• Properly clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, work surfaces, and storage areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, temperature-control, and proper food-handling procedures.
• Assist with receiving, rotating, labeling, and storing food products.
• Monitor food quality and freshness.
• Help maintain kitchen inventory and communicate low-stock items.
• Work collaboratively with Wrangler Kitchen staff, student employees, and Culinary teams.
• Perform other food service duties as assigned.

Specific Position Duties

Assist with preparation and cooking of breakfast, lunch, daily specials, and grab-and-go items

Follow recipes, portion standards, and food presentation guidelines

Prepare ingredients including meats, vegetables, sides, and other menu components

Assist with food preparation for Wrangler Kitchen specials, supper packs, and campus events

Maintain clean and organized food preparation and cooking areas

Properly clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, work surfaces, and storage areas

Follow all food safety, sanitation, temperature-control, and proper food-handling procedures

Assist with receiving, rotating, labeling, and storing food products

Monitor food quality and freshness

Help maintain kitchen inventory and communicate low-stock items

Work collaboratively with Wrangler Kitchen staff, student employees, and Culinary teams

Perform other food service duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Part-time hours, up to 19 hours per week. Schedule will vary based on Wrangler Kitchen operating needs and may include early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends. Must be dependable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, follow instructions and food safety procedures, and work effectively as part of a team. Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided.
