Qualifications

Ability to stand for extended periods.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and move boxes of food.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, task-oriented environment.
Reliable and punctual, flexible to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

Receive and assist with unloading food deliveries.
Verify delivered items against packing lists when applicable.
Organize and store food items according to pantry guidelines.
Assemble approximately 70–85 pantry bags per distribution cycle.
Ensure pantry bags are packed accurately and consistently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry and work areas.
Follow food safety, handling, and sanitation guidelines.
Communicate delivery issues, shortages, or damaged items to staff.
Assist with set-up and breakdown of pantry operations as needed.
Perform additional related responsibilities as requested by the Vice President/Director.
