Hyatt is seeking a Pantry Cook at Grand Hyatt San Francisco to join our Culinary team. This role prepares pantry items, maintains mise en place, and supports restaurant, banquet, and room service needs with attention to quality and cleanliness.

The position is hourly, pays $35.94 per hour, and requires the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Competitive benefits and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualificações

• Experience as pantry, prep cook, line cook, or hotel kitchen is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cold food preparation and knife skills.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, production lists, and verbal instructions.
• Food handler certification or ability to obtain required certification.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare pantry station items such as salads, cold appetizers, sandwiches, dressings, sauces, garnishes, fruit, desserts.
• Set up, maintain, and break down the pantry station according to hotel standards.
• Follow recipes, production sheets, portion standards, plating guidelines, and presentation expectations.
• Ensure food items are fresh, properly prepared, and served at the correct temperature.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
• Assist with inventories, receiving, stocking, and other kitchen duties as assigned.
