Job summary

Georgia State University seeks a Panther's Pantry Coordinator to lead daily operations, outreach, and program development for students in need across multiple campuses. You will supervise part-time staff and volunteers, manage inventory, and build partnerships to expand access and impact.

The role emphasizes collaboration with campus units, budget oversight, and program growth, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional events in the evenings or on weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience.
• Master's degree in a related field (preferred).
• Experience working in a college/university setting (preferred).
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license for intercampus transportation of pantry items (preferred).
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all populations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pantry operations across Atlanta and Perimeter campuses.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and coordinate student assistants, interns, and volunteers.
• Track distributions, inventory, and service metrics.
• Manage pantry operating budget, invoices, purchasing, vendor and donor relationships.
• Provide respectful, equitable client service, respond to feedback, and train student staff.
• Partner with campus units to promote basic-needs resources and awareness campaigns.
• Other duties as assigned.
