Job summary

Covenant Panel Works (CPW) seeks a Panel Shop Manager to lead daily manufacturing, drive throughput, and protect margins. You will oversee the panel engineering, drafting team, and assembly operations, ensuring safe, on-time delivery within budgeted labor hours.

Responsibilities include master production scheduling, lean cell design, BOM accuracy, and UL 508A compliance, with remote collaboration to support global engineering and estimating resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related manufacturing field.
• 5–7+ years in electrical control panel manufacturing or similar.
• 3+ years in leadership of shop floor operations and technicians.
• UL 508A MTR credentials or deep UL knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own daily/weekly shop floor schedule to meet ship dates.
• Organize lean assembly cells to maximize throughput.
• Track labor hours to protect gross profit targets.
• Staff, train, and onboard assembly technicians as volume grows.
• Maintain safety and 5S, OSHA compliance.
• Direct controls engineers and CAD drafters on schematics and BOMs.
• Coordinate with remote engineering teams to prep BOMs for hand-off.
• Ensure UL 508A compliance and testing protocols before labeling.
