Job summary

Clackamas County Health Centers Division is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (Panel Manager) to support care team communication and patient flow, primarily coordinating messages in EPIC and assisting with test results.

The role requires CMA certification and BLS, with preference for primary care experience. This on-site position in Oregon City involves working with diverse patients and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Medical Assistant certification/registration from a recognized program.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred: experience in primary care or community health.

Responsibilities

• Manage Panel Manager In Basket in EPIC, review, process, and respond to messages.
• Answer the team phone and back-line/provider line; process prior authorizations.
• Track patients and conduct outreach using registries.
• Consult with and support team members, including providers, RNs, BHCs, other CMAs, and the Pharmacist.
• Provide coverage for Direct CMAs as needed; review and process lab results with provider input.
• Log immunization refrigerator data and maintain inventory; process patient walk-ins.
