Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Palliative Care RN for the Billings, MT area to provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered care. The role emphasizes whole-person care, symptom management, and advance care planning within an interdisciplinary team at St Vincent Regional Hospital.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with no routine nights, weekends, or holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package to support caregiver well-being and professional development.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice; compact license holders must transfer within 60 days.
• BSN from an accredited institution; education will be verified.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain a BSN within four (4) years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and navigator for palliative patients and families.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, options, and resources.
• Assess symptoms and collaborate on symptom management plans.
• Triage calls, questions, and care concerns.
• Coordinate services across primary care, hospice, home health, and community resources.
• Support advance care planning conversations and documentation.
• Provide ongoing follow-up and care coordination throughout the healthcare journey.
