Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Palliative Care RN in Billings, Montana, to provide compassionate, whole-person care for patients and families facing serious illness. You will coordinate care, educate families about diagnoses and options, and collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, hospice teams, and home health services to support symptom management and decision-making.

This Monday–Friday role offers 8:00 AM–5:00 PM hours, no routine nights, weekends, or holidays, and a

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice with license transfer if under a compact license.
• BSN from an accredited program; education will be verified.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and serve as navigator for palliative care patients and families.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, and resources.
• Assess symptoms and collaborate with providers on care plans.
• Triage calls and care concerns from patients and families.
• Coordinate services across primary, specialty, hospice, home health and community resources.
• Support advance care planning conversations and documentation.
• Provide ongoing follow-up and care coordination throughout the patient journey.
