University of Utah Health is seeking a psychologist for our adult palliative care clinic in Salt Lake City. You will conduct psychological assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions for patients with serious illness, working within a collaborative team including physicians, nurses, social workers, and chaplains.

The role offers opportunities for trainee education, program development, quality improvement, and scholarly activities aligned with your interests and program needs.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD from an APA-accredited graduate program in clinical, counseling, or health psychology
• Licensure as a psychologist in the State of Utah
• At least one year of supervised clinical experience in psychotherapy, health psychology, behavioral medicine, or related practice
• Completion of an APA-accredited doctoral internship
• Eligible for ABPP board certification within 3 years of appointment

Responsabilités

• Provide psychological assessment and evidence-based interventions for patients with serious illness and their families in outpatient palliative care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to address psychological, emotional, and psychosocial aspects of illness
• Participate in trainee education, program development, quality improvement, and scholarly activities
